Earthly Treasures
If I catalogued all my treasured possessions,
If I set them out for all to see,
I would not be able to find a single one
That surpasses the treasures God gave to me.
He gave me life, abundant and sweet.
He called me by name and made me His own,
He paid the price to ransom my soul,
And promised an eternity in His own home.
But while I wait to see His face,
Someday far or someday near,
I'm not alone or deprived at all,
He gave me friends so sweet and dear.
