It's Pumpkin Patch Time, Once Again

October is PUMPKIN MONTH at First United Methodist Church of Seguin, Texas.

The front lawn is turned into a big orange pumpkin patch. There are pumpkins for every kind of fall project...some are the perfect size for pies, some will make wonderful jack-o-lanterns, and some are small enough to make great table top decorations.

There is a price range for every budget. The little minis are a favorite with the tiny tots who visit the patch. And believe me, there are lots of tiny tots toddling around the pumpkins. Some come with their daycare clasess, some come with moms and grandparents, some come on field trips from the local elementary schools.

There are lots of photo opportunities. Parents pose their cute little boys and girls in front of the pumpkins and hay bales, hoping to get a great shot to share with friends and family.

There are lots of volunteers who will help with the photography so everyone can be in the photos.

Volunteers also tell pumpkin tales to the visitors, helping to make the trip to the pumpkin patch special.

There are still lots of pumpkins available, so if you haven't gotten yours, come on by before they are all gone. If you miss out, though, there is always next year.
