After my last post on rain lilies, I had a reader interested in getting some kind of idea of the size of these beautiful wild flowers. So, I am posting a couple more shots. As you can see above, the blooms are actually on the small size. Nonetheless, they are gorgeous.
I've been trying to find out the name of these flowers for a while! They pop up in the fields and on the roadside here in Bryan, TX after a good rain in the summer, but ours are a pale yellow. I thought maybe they were some type of wild onion, but now I know. Thank you for your beautiful picture.
